Course Overview:
The best preforming assets over the last two decades have revolved around the transfer of digital information. From CDs to apple music, bookstores to amazon, and in person meet ups to Instagram DM’s everything that was once analogue has collapsed into a digital form. We are on the precipice of a new transformation, one far more impactful and life changing. The digital transformation of value. What once started as fake internet money has now amounted to an impressive $2T market cap and has everyone from wall street investors to small business owners asking the question, what is Bitcoin and how do I buy some. This event will be the start of your Bitcoin journey as you begin to unpack what Bitcoin is and how it’s changing the landscape of traditional investing and finance.
The Problem:
Everyone is against Bitcoin before they are for it. One of the hurdles with Bitcoin is that it’s not easy to understand. There isn’t another asset that serves as a true comparable, because Bitcoin pulls traits from many different asset groups and combines them all into one.
The Solution:
To understand Bitcoin better requires the ability to pull back the layers and draw examples of other more mainstream things that we find valuable and compare them to how Bitcoin adopts those same traits. We will also need to confront traditional investing strategies and look at the true power that inflation has in adjusted terms to rethink where we are storing our economic energy. Leaving this presentation, you will begin to look at money and purchasing power through a new lens and where Bitcoin can find a place in your portfolio.
The Outcome:
Bitcoin the idea is much larger than Bitcoin the network. Whoever attends this presentation will be introduced into the network that will lead to separate conversations, discussions, and learning. Each one of us our born a denier of Bitcoin. My goal is to present enough information and evidence to have everyone leaving curious or as a believer of Bitcoin to further continue their journey down the Bitcoin rabbit hole.
